I am worried about shipping glass. What if it arrives broken?

We understand your concern. While we use specialized shock-resistant packaging, accidents can happen. But don't worry—we take 100% of the risk. If your portrait arrives damaged, simply send us a photo within 48 hours, and we will recreate and reship a new one for free. You don’t need to return the broken pieces. 

How long will it take to receive my order?

Since every piece is hand-stippled, please allow 3-7 business days for production. Once shipped, delivery typically takes 7-12 business days depending on your location. In total, most clients receive their art in about 2-3 weeks.

Will I be charged customs or import taxes?

No. At MillionTaps, we cover all customs duties and taxes for our customers in the US, Europe, UK, and Australia. The price you see at checkout is the final price you pay. No hidden fees. 

Art & Process

Is this really handmade?

Yes. Unlike laser-printed glass, our portraits are created using a technique called "Stippling." An artist uses a specialized tool to manually tap the glass surface millions of times. The varying density of these dots creates the light, shadow, and details of your portrait. It is a labor of love and patience.

What kind of photo works best?

The better the photo, the better the art. We recommend:

  • High Resolution: Clear, not blurry.

  • Good Lighting: Avoid photos that are too dark or have strong shadows on the face.

  • Close-ups: Photos focusing on the face and shoulders work best for our glass medium.

Can I see a preview before you make it?

To keep our production time fast (3-7 days), we typically do not send proofs for every order. However, our artists are experts at translating photos into glass art. If your photo has issues, we will email you before we start working to ask for a better one.

Orders & Returns

Can I cancel or change my order?

You can cancel or change your photo within 24 hours of placing the order. After that, our artists may have already started the stippling process, and cancellations will no longer be possible. 

Do you offer refunds?

Because each piece is custom-made specifically for you, we cannot offer returns for "change of mind." However, if there is a quality issue or shipping damage, we will absolutely replace it for you. Your satisfaction is our priority.
